The Rowany Trophy

The Rowany Trophy is the most important ‘Major’ competition of the year. Steeped in history, this trophy was first presented in 1930 after the club specifically raised subscriptions to save up for a trophy worthy of the club’s premier annual trophy.

Costing £25 over 80 years ago (over £1,000 in present day money) this fabulous trophy is awarded to the player who triumphs, not just in two stroke-play rounds, but in a last 16 knock out stage.
